I'm surprised that he still could be a teacher! the worse teacher I've ever had. I did the project that he required above expectation with the thought that I would at least have an A range grade, and he comment that it wasn't my work and gave me 50%. He doesn't believe that there is student that better than him! And he doesn't want to listen! awful

extremely subjective tests, no way to study for them (asks whats a better ppt color, blue or dark blue), first 3 questions are copies of the hw. lectures are wikipedia information, he expects you to teach yourself the programs to be used for homework. portfolio is pretty easy to do. grading is not consistent. regret taking this joke, screw tenure.

worst teacher I've ever had in 17 years of studying. Hilarious teacher. Very impolite when student asking about grade. Very very very boring class. Never buy his book, waste money. I bought 1 and never have to open it second time. Exactly same as his presentation which you can easily find online by 1 click.

His lectures were long and not needed as he made a textbook that has the exact same thing. You can easily fall asleep in that class wake up and know what is happening just by reading a few pages. He is a great guy that would talk to you about technology if you want, but his lectures and his teaching style were lacking as they provided nothing fun.

His lectures are SUPER boring. His grading system is weird, only gives out 105 95 85 75. No clear grading criteria. Lectures have nothing to do with the HW. Hw has step by step videos to watch. 3 exams 1 project. Didn't pay attention at all and i got an A. But it was a painfully boring class. His exams are take home.

He isn't that bad. 105, 95, 85 grading system. I think its because the work is very easy so his job it to be nit picky. We had to use Microsoft programs such as Word. To get a 105 don't just follow what he tells you on the paper (but some you can 4 105). Listen to lectures(confusing) to figure out what makes a perfect paper. Show up(helps grade)

BORING. I took his hybrid CIS class and wish I just took it online. There are step by step videos online. I will say, his grading is ridiculous. My friend and I did our homework together once and he gave my friend a better grade. Friend got 105, I got an 83, and my assignment looked more professional/organized. WE HAD THE SAME EXACT ANSWERS. Ridic.

This is the most painful course I have taken in my 14 years of education. This professor does nothing but read his lectures in class. We have yet to actually use the computers in a computer lab, and have yet to receive any valuable instruction on anything we are being graded on. The maximum grade on an assignment was a 95. This guy needs to retire.

Doesn't seem helpful to me. On the term paper, the plagiarism would mean an automatic fail for the course, so be careful about the citations.

Insulting to students & women, throws in his personal opinion as "fact" and loves to talk about himself. His ego is amazingly grand - he wrote the textbook and included things like his first computer, his first processor, etc... Demeaning, grandiose, and won't yield to a debate on his personal and unfounded opinions. What he says is fact - no waver

I'll keep it short: Worst teacher I've ever taken. Insults students constantly. Mocks students work. Grading system: 105, 95, 85 and so on. No 100%. He is always right. Uses every second of class. Nitpicks every little thing and drops grade by 10% for each thing. So terrible I'm writing a review about him.

Very nice and helpful professor. Printed his own book made from power point presentations from every class which was purchased at the book store for cheaper than a regular text book. The whole class is spent listening to him instruct while watching the power point. So if you don't like listening to someone talk the WHOLE class, this is not for you.

I admit, the lectures aren't interesting but it's kinda hard to make a lecture on how to use programs interesting. Its easy if you show up and pay attention. He's helpful but you need to ask questions if you don't understand, because he can't be helpful if he doesn't know you need help. Put some effort into the class and you'll be just fine.

basically he just talks and relates everything to himself. he is not nice and his projects/test, although are take home, have nothing to do with his lectures. its senarios with answers he has set in his head, and are not open ended. he will take off loads of points for minor mistakes. if you take him pretend you are intersted in an obvious way.

He could not explain his grading method. I worked so hard on the project, tests and paper and he still marked off for little stupid things.
