Very tough grader, and class is entirely test based. But he offers so much extra credit opportunities that if you put in the effort you'll pass. You get extra credit for having no unexposed absences.

Dr. Huber is probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He is so willing to help and gives super easy extra credits. His tests are pretty easy, and the class is interesting. Literally if you show up for class, you will most likely pass.

Very nice guy. Go to class = get extra credit. Do the study guide questions, they are the test!!! Tests are challenging but there are plenty of opportunities to still receive a good grade with other assignments and extra credit.

Huber is so cool! He cares about his subject and his students and will work with you. He gives SO MUCH extra credit. I've had 3 classes with him and have literally made over 100 because of all the extra credit he gives. He doesn't grade hard and his tests are usually MC.

Comment:
I've had him for multiple courses. 491 was extremely difficult, simply because the class itself is extremely boring (statistics, yikes.) He is hands down the most helpful teacher I've ever had, and with the other courses his reading material was great. Gives test questions well-before hand so you know what to pay careful attention to and study.

Huber is ok. Class is incredibly boring. Bring your laptop for typing notes and for stumbleupon. He's very knowledgable but has trouble communicating it. Take notes on his lectures but mostly read read read your book and take notes on the chapters. Tests are difficult but if you study for the short answer 10pts. & its given outside of class.

IDK why he is getting such great reviews. I honestly think he is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. He is boring, I mean it is the biggest struggle to even pay attention in his class. His tests are SO HARD and he usually has a few questions on there that he never even went over, luckily he gives your points back. BUT AVOID HIM

Cultural Anthropology (or Comparative Social Organization) was a relatively easy class. If you know the answers to the optional study questions, the tests are a breeze. The readings were usually interesting, and he is a very fair grader. He does keep track of attendance, more than 2 unexcused absences will affect your grade.

He goes over the chapters and the study questions in his lectures. His lectures are kind of interesting, but he likes to talk about sex a little too much...it gets really uncomfortable. However, this is just a minor blip on a good class. I would take him again.

Clearly wants everyone to do well in his class. you really have to do the readings, and for the final paper, if you go and talk to him, he will help you out ALLOT. one of my favorite professors at the college.

Prof. Huber is by far the worst professor at this college. He makes judgments on people before he even really knows the entire story. He says you can compare answers for the 2 projects that he assigns but, if you come up with the same answer, you will be penalized. He actually made me change my major from Anthro. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Dr. Huber is a really helpful professor, but you must read in order to do well in his class. He gives frequent quizzes but they are easy if you answer beforehand a list of questions that he prepares for each text. Overall his class is interesting. He encourages students to ask questions and always tries to answer them as clear as possible.

Doesn't seem to know what he's talking about. Tests and quizes are absolutely rediculous with super vague questions and ereserve readings are for the most part tedious. Projects are easy and count a lot. Don't really recommend.

He is probably one of the best professors at the College. He will do anything to help a student. Whether it's related to class or not, he is willing to listen and help. His exams are easy but grades harshly on the term paper.

Huber is a pretty nice guy. He takes attendance but doesn't penalize if you are absent unless its on the due date of something. Study the questions he gives you at the beginning of the semester- they make up 70% of each test. Funny guy. Corny jokes. Class can often be boring. Offers extra credit. 2 class projects were pretty easy.
