Chadbourne really knows his **** when it comes to insurance. His tests are hard, but if you read the book then you'll get better than an 80 on them. Listen to what he says in class and you're lookin at an A.

Great teacher and you'll learn a lot, but you'll work for it. Clear explaining teacher who is excited about the subject. He has a sense of humor. I would take him again. It's definately a class that helps to pay attention to during class or you may be a little lost though. Easy to stay awake.

Tests are 10 short essay, 20 multiple guess. I never read the book, just took good notes and got an A. Although this is not an easy class, you learn a lot that is real life applicable. Great professor who is funny. Class is entertaining. However, you will have to work and know your stuff for the exam. If you want to learn take the class.

Results for the first test: 8 A's, 2 B's, 4 C's, 9 D's, 3 F's... and I think the withdraw period (with any kind of refund) is over! OK for "top of the calss" kinda people, but $3,000 down the crapper for MANY other students! Boring teacher! Tests mostly from notes, but very difficult to TAKE notes because what he writes on the board is VERY unorganized and most of the time, barely legible. Also reminds me of Golem...

The best professor at ERAU. Chadbourne doesn't give away A's like most, but you do learn alot. Always helps students, and is really great when you come by his office and talk to him one on one. Glad I took his class.

Class is relatively difficult, study the items he puts on the boards and if he says its going to be on the test it is going to be on the test. Tests are about 10 short essays and 20 multiple choice. Very helpful if you ask him for help. Great professor with a challenging class.

Chadbourne is a nice guy, but his tests are extremely difficult. The entire class time is spent on boring lectures, so be sure to have a cup of java before class begins. The tests are a lot of essay questions mixed with fill-in-the-blanks, and some multiple choice. I studied a lot, and took plenty of notes in class, but still pulled C's on tests.

It's all like "motherhood and applepie." One of the most fun and interesting profs I've had at Riddle. Definately brings his business background to class (even tho its not aviation, business is business). Don't let the first day scare you, put some effort into it and you'll do good.

Chadbourne loves to "put things together in the pot" and sometimes we got lost... Good teacher, loves Coke and 7UP, true... Just got married again (yeah he's in his late 60's) but overall a good teacher... Do your project, memorize the cash flow statement and you'll be fine...

One of the most enthusiastic teachers ever. He is like 70 and still going strong! Unfortunately there are only like 3 tests and if you mess one up you are screwed for a grade. The class gets boring at times but he is easily the happiest and most excited person I have ever seen. Take it if you can.

He's okay - nice guy.Talks alot about Coke/7Up as he used to own the local distribution-how he got rich. His background is not exactly relevant to aviation but neither are the backgrounds of many other ERAU business faculty.I guess it is hard to get good faculty with relevant experience in DB.
