Comment:

Professor Finnegan is a true inspiration to students and is a great role model in her field. She is willing to have an open dialogue with students, and she provides students with great resources and a helping hand. She shows great compassion for every individual and is a true advocate for children and students. I highly recommend her classes.

Comment:

Kate is a wonderful teacher and I am glad to have met her. She was very engaged and clear with what she required and she is very positive and upbeat. I am amazed at her ability to keep up with all the work she does for the community and the college. I would recommend her to anyone who loves children!

Very friendly, very thorough. Uses an excellent mix of guided discussion, lecture, and reading (though there is a LOT of reading, with accompanying response papers). Practices what she preaches, too - will work to accommodate your learning.

Interesting, I had the worst experiences with her. I thought that she was incredibly one-sided and did not listen to her students. While she might have been an intelligent woman, I did not find her to be a very friendly woman.

Great introduction to special education, the class is taught through 3 books on different aspects of culture and special needs, these are not text books but thought provoking accounts of real life experiences. excellent teacher

amazing!!! by far the most inspired/inspiring & thoughtful teacher. supportive and excited about possibilities. do not hesitate! the best classes i took were her's and they weren't even part of my concentration. anything she teaches! take them all!

If you are an ed major, this is the class for you. Kate is THE teacher to emulate. Her care for her students exceeded my expectations of any professor. A++++
