Wow! What a wonderful teacher!!! She gives you an insight on everything she teaches!!! Lectures are realistic and not spontaneous. She sticks to her subjects and diligently works hard so her students are comfortable with the subjects!!! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!

She tries to weed out those that are not going to stick it out by being in your face the first day...but she is an all around good teacher...just do the work..she gives you all the answers to the final almost everyday..and when there isn't alot of people in class she gives even more "hint hints" ...worth every penny to take her class!

I loved all 3 classes I took with her. Great teacher!! Very passionate and interesting. Only drawback: 2 hours and 45 minutes means just that, you wont ever get out before time is up. Small drawback for what you'll learn. Take her!!!

THE PROFESSOR IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER! SHE REALLY KNOWS HER STUFF, IS VERY STRICT ON ATTENDANCE. I AM GLAD I STAYED IN BECAUSE SHE CAN BE VERY INTIMIDATING AT FIRST. SHE EXPECTS ALOT FROM HER STUDENTS. PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED, WOULD RECOMMEND HER.

Great class! I am a business major,but it was the only class that fit into my schedule. She knows her stuff and really gets you thinking. Very STRICT on attendance, and does require 5 short papers, are very easy. I would definitely recommend her.

This was by far one of my favorite college classes EVER! At first, i was extremely intimidated. She seems realllly hard at first, but she is soooo knowledgable, and the class was sooooo interesting. I hate going to school... but I never missed this class... because i didnt want to miss it!!!!TOTALLLLY RECOMMEND HER!!!

Fantastic professor! Takes attendence seriously, but she outlines the whole semester in TREMENDOUS detail, so you know what your up for. Great class & teacher. Professor Hayes is very passionate about her subject. She cares that students get all they can from her class. She has a lot of knowledgge to share but you have to do your part and not make excuses. I have taken her once before for violence and would take her again. Great teacher.

people seem to love her or hate her! attendance is mandatory. she is rigorous and knows her stuff... yet expects too much from her students. she can be patronizing and has no consideration that some students have more than 1 class. i would not recommend her for any class and neither would a few other sociology professors that i have talked to.

I think that she is a strong academic-just because you're a strong academic doesn't mean that you'll be an equally strong teacher. her standards are very high and unreasonable at times.. i work full-time and am full-time yet she thinks everyone has all the time in the world to devote to school. very strict attendance policy and abrasive.
