Mr. Contreras is nothing like the average teacher. His intrest in Government and politics is something that makes him an acceptional role-model. His wits and humor go hand in hand, and i'd be surprised if there were any teachers just as interesting as Mr. Contreras!

This teacher was really nice, but his method of teaching was not the best I've seen. Outlines were too vauge to understand, and the definitons sometimes did not make sense on the test.I highly advise you not to take his course.

Mr. Contreras is the nicest sweetest professor i have ever met. His tests are mostly from the outlines he gives out and he gives out quizzes to help out your grade. I suggest you do the essays he asks for extra credit, but they're super easy they only have to be around a page long he mostly just wants a summary or like an outline. I recommend him!!

He is extremely passionate about his history and very knowledgeable. He is a nice prof and never puts students on the spot. He tells you what you need to know for tests, so you have to write notes! No book necessary if you write notes. Make sure you volunteer to do reports, because he gives extra credit for them. I would recommend to take his class

Best teacher I've had; he made history fun. Do the extra credit reports it helps. He's really nice and he's really enthusiastic about history. For me i really didn't really have to study just refresh my memory using the book. Take this class you won't regret it.

This professor is extremely easy. Go to class, take notes, and review his outlines and you have an A. He shows movies sometimes and does not take attendance. He's funny and knows so much history. I highly recommend him if you do not know that much history. Only downfall is that you do need to read your book even though it's not strongly inforced.

He is a very nice professor. Take notes and listen out when he says he might ask that in a test..that means it's a bonus question..No excuse to fail, he is clear with the lecture, provides outline so you can do readings from the book but not necessary. I got a B.. no sweat!

Great professor.Went over the quiz questions before he gave them.Very clear on his notes and will point out whats important.Just study what he says and you'll do great easy A or B if you put forth a little effort.He gave extra credit if u came in to his reviews before the test.Gives plenty of them so you can make it to one.Must take him no regrets.
