Took him ages ago for calc 1. He made the class way harder than it needed to be imo. Spent most of the time doing proofs than examples, so youre kinda on your own when it comes to doing and understanding problems. Just make sure to study independently, he puts hw questions on the quizzes and exams. Dont take if you are lazy.

He's a great person and sometimes a great teacher. You HAVE to put in the work the class isnt easy. My class was graded on 3 midterms and a final, where HW counted for 0%. 1st midterm is HARD He spends a lot of time doing proofs, not problems. Sadly you're mostly on your own for the material but the computational part of the course isn't difficult

Did a great job teaching, but if you are lazy don't take. 3 midterms(most of the class failed btw)and a final. Gives HW, not part of grade. Curve is small, ie 65% is C-. Advice:You must study profusely in this class, one low score on a midterm and you cannot recover. Got B- on first midterm then A,B+; A on final->B+. That B- cost me an A, so STUDY!

homework is from the book and loud and proud and happy to help with all things that are going to be on the test. If I could order him on amazonprime I would still pay the extra 3.99 for shipping and handling processing fees. I would write a 5 star review; I am so happy it arrived so fast and the product is dazzling.

I love Dr. Klein even though his last name is spelled wrong. i before e except after c. Even though his last name does not make grammatical sense, this bears no reflection on this mans ability to perform as an educator.

I had the best time in his class. It is needed for a 100 level class. Always there to participate and gives good feedback.

Dr. Klein is an idealist. He means well, but his expectations are way too high for a 100 level class. He shows lots of enthusiasm for the subject; however, if you aren't a 'math type', I wouldn't suggest taking him. If you are interested in math theory and/or are taking an upper division mathematics class, he may just be the professor for you.

Dr. Klein has been one of the best calc teachers I've ever had! He breaks things down really well and even goes back to basic Algebra when necessary. He doesn't judge, and encourages question! Ask them! You definitely need the book because all of the homework is in there. Put in work and you can pass. Test/quiz questions come from the homework too.

Dr. Klein is easily the best professor I've had my whole college career. He will go through the most basic algebra to help you get the bigger picture of calc. He's hilarious and will be a smartass if you ask him a dumb question like, "what will be on the test?" Don't be afraid to ask him twice about something that isn't clear. His test will get ya!

Basically I tutor my friends in Calc 2 and didn't pass his class. He assigns homework from the book and doesn't check it, it is to help yourself. So if you don't do it you will basically fail. He gives homework quizzes, questions are straight from the book. He is the hardest test grader in the universe. There's partial credit but partially any.

The class is really tough. Definitely not an easy A professor but he is a good teacher who really knows his stuff. His class is not for someone who is lazy. Homework is optional but you better do them if you want to do well in the tests. Tough but not impossible to get an A if you really really try and put the time and effort. Good Luck!

This Professor teaches well. However the class itself is difficult and there is a lot of homework which you should do if you want to pass with at least a B. There are only 2 midterms, and one final with a few quizzes. Thing that I liked was that he always told you when the quizzes or test were so no surprises there. Be ready for when the test come

I'd suggest avoiding his class like the Plague. I did pass, one of the few in the class. If you take his class, expect to do 4-5 hours of homework per night, and doing that, still don't expect to finish it all. The tests make you feel dumb, since test problems are much harder than the book problems, and he gives almost no examples.

I took him for fun and it was more of a challenge. He's knows his stuff. He teaches at a University Level and expects you to have a University level knowledge of English as well. If you don't know a word he might say it's ok to ask him what did you mean by ... Homework is not mandatory, but study it he posts everything online. Test come from his HW

Very tough professor. He teaches really well, but expects a lot in return by making his tests extremely difficult. webwork was extra credit so no homework due. He is the best professor I've had in math, very clear explanations but again tests were VERY hard. Take him if you want a challenge, dont take him if you are lazy.
