This professor is extremely disrespectful to all his students saying things like wipe that stupid look off your face and you are getting on my nerves to various students who are never off topic and who always pay attention. This prof slurs his speech and by thinking he knows ALL makes basic math more confusing than it should be. AVOID this guy

excellent professor. not easy but if it was anyone could do it. has high expectations for his students and will do what it takes to help them succeed. HIGHLY intelligent and very helpful. If you want to learn, great! If youwant an eay pass, see some one else. I think we go to college to learn. He will tech you if that is what you are there for.

I had him in 1991-92 for Calc based Physics. One of the best college teachers I ever had. NOT easy... but the best teachers never are. They have high expectations for their students and he certainly does.

Comment:

I do not like math and never have. Dr Wycherley made this as easy for us as he could and I learned more from him than any other math teacher ever. I think only 4 people passed this class. He goes fast so keep up. He is BRILLIANT and I felt sad for him trying to teach us who were so not into math as he is and shocked that he chooses to.

I have never been good at math and was nervous about the class. Dr. Wycherley was extremely helpful and wouldn't move on in class until everyone said they understood. I wish that he was teaching 98 so that I could continue taking him. I think he enjoys teaching and chooses to do it on his free time which says a lot about his teaching.

Had him for both 96 & 98. He's a great teacher for mature students, doesn't BS, just gives you what you need for the course, doesn't put up with whiners, and actually forces you th think about the problems instead of just giving you the answer. Some would say he's hard-- he makes you work. Gr8 for people who want to remember the stuff past finals.

Awesome teacher! Gives you exactly what you need and nothing else--no BS! Plus, doesn't put up with stupid whining and immaturity! In other words, that annoying student that would rather share life stories...doesn't in this class.

I love this guy because he is a true professor. I have this girl sitting next to me complaining about his lectures and his attitude, and I am thinking "shut up." This man gets to the point about lecture, his exams are not hard if you study. Also, when you are in college, dont act like you are in high school because he will release the evil on u.

i love dr. wycherley... i am not a strong math studend and i had no concept of measurement, etc. before taking his class, but he explained everything so clearly i understood the concepts most of the time, and when i didn't he would give me a lot of help outside of class... i made a C, but i know it would have been a lot worse with another teacher.
