Comment:

She is a great professor all around. Super nice and helpful and always available to talk. She also responds to her emails very quickly and makes sure to answer your questions. But do be prepared to do some sort of group project in a class with her.

Comment:

She is very particular about how you answer assignments which makes it incredibly hard to pass if you're mediocre at statistics. She's very funny and kind but she lectures all class which makes class feel somewhat unbearable. I can imagine teaching stats must be awful. She needs to ease up her tests and bring more enjoyment to the classroom.

I've taken class with Deb three semesters in a row at this point and I love this woman. She is so genuinely caring and will always explain anything you need her to. Lectures are always engaging and information heavy but not boring. She always does a review session before tests where she basically gives you all the answers. Highly recommend.

Deb is a kind, genuine person, and I'm very thankful to have had her as a professor. She's extremely busy, so things aren't always succinct and organized, but you will definitely learn!

Deb is a professor who truly cares about her students and is willing to work with those who work! Her teaching style is mainly lecture, but she involves students very much and her expectations are clear. She offered extra credit a few times this semester (I suggest attending class the class before Thanksgiving break ;)) I love deb!

Deb is an amazing person and teacher. I am fortunate to have had many classes with her. She is helpful and patient with her students who "Don't get it." at first! On many occasions she has gone out of her way to help me graduate on schedule :) I highly recommend her!

Love Deb, love her, love her! Classes were awesome, she knows how to teach anything and everything to anybody. Spends extra time if need be and puts in the extra effort if you are willing to. Lectures are fun and informative. Learned something new every day. Would recommend her class - any of them! Wonderful advisor too!

Deb is just the most wonderful professor on the entire MCLA campus. She does not act like some of the other professors who are stuffy. She is really down to earth.You want to learn with Deb. I have taken 5 of Deb's classes and would take more with her if possible. Classes are fun as well as educational. She always has time for students.

Brilliant educator who is accessible and entertaining. I'd make Foss one of my first stops on the MCLA campus. She is a riot! Not only will you be rewarded academically, but her classes are a natural high on an otherwise "magoo" campus.
