During COVID-19, Diane did nothing but post TEXTBOOK PUBLISHER CREATED SLIDES with no addt. teaching. Gave a list of quizzes and busywork discussion boards instead. In class, she was curt and often stopped class to PUBLICLY SHAME students who were late. I succeeded, but not b/c of her help. No interest in teaching & does not care abt yr education!

I am SO sorry for those who have not done their research on her and took her class. Please do better than her. If you want to actually learn and pass psychology, I do not recommend this teacher. Shame on her. Take it from me, she does not care whether you pass or fail. Do better than professor Pisacreta.

This class is very hard. The quizzes are not ALL related with the text book and audio lecture. These are your study sources. Was not prepared for the quizzes even though I studied everything that was given. Your grade is mostly from your test scores . Also no make ups for quizzes and no extra credit, no study guides. Take a better psychology class.

I had a 6 weeks class online, 80 pages of study and 2 exams per week, the exams and terminology didnt match the book or readings she gave us, I woke up at 7 a.m. studying for the whole week, still I couldnt get a good grade.I believe majority of the class didnt pass because of the bad program and she still gets paid for it, which is unfair

I took Professor Pisacreta for General Psych and Abnormal Psych. Both were online courses. There are tons of lectures, so if that's not your thing, maybe look elsewhere. However, the lectures are clear and re-watchable. Tests take most material from lectures, but some from textbook. If you do the work, you will most likely pass. Interesting courses

Terrible experience. Online Psy205 - Diane responded to emails seemingly without reading them at all since responses (when I got them at all) were completely off base and disrespecful. Class over all extremely easy - 1 quiz over each chapter - 1 question at a time, no going back to correct answers. Correct answers not shown at any time.

If you are an education major, then this class with this professor is a must. I still reference what I learned in her class to this day. With that said, be prepared to take notes, listen and read your text book. I spent about three hours a week working on test prep. Only tests for grades. Do online. Put in the work and you'll get an A.

Uses a lot of quizzes and exams. Does not follow the textbook, if you use something from the textbook to answer a test question and its wrong, good luck. She'll say she gave the correct answer in a lecture some time and you should have listened better. Overall not a bad professor if you just need the class for credit.

I missed 2 out of 16 of her quizzes, did all the extra credit homework she said to do so i could get an A. I even emailed her a couple days before the end of the semester to check&ask about my grade, and she didn't have the decency to even respond to me. This professor was very disrespectful and never answered any of my questions. She graded the entire class as if we were all already psychologists (confirmed this with multiple classmates). Due to her lack of helping me, I asked for extra credit. She would not give me any extra credit work. Overall, I would not recommend taking her classes.

This professor is amazing. If you are interested in psychology you shouldn't find it very difficult. I read the chapters and made note cards out of my lecture notes and did well. Attendence is important because you don't want to miss the notes and I found the lectures very helpful in retaining information. She has a great presence.

She's very funny and makes the lectures interesting, but your entire grade is based off of 5 exams. The exams are very difficult & you don't know the answers to the quizzes you take to study for the exams, so if you did bad on those then chances are you'll fail the exam too.

She was disrespectful, asked questions in an unclear way, and graded very harshly. She took a lot of points off for small things and I found her to be overall terrible... Sorry, but I would not reccomend taking her... at least not for online classes.
