Elizabeth Weier is wonderful! I think the raters that had negative things to say were rating Liz, who must be a different teacher because this one was awesome and on point all semester. Never fell behind and she absolutely was an awesome instructor! Definitely going to try to get my certificate because of her influence! I highly recommend her!

I had this instructor for ASL and for Deaf Culture. She's a VERY nice lady, but if you're serious about being in the Deaf Community, I would not recommend her classes. Out of 16 chapters in the book - she covered 3. I learned more in the first week of re-taking the class then I did in the whole semester with her. Unfortunate.

I recommend Elizabeth for any ASL class, she is an excellent teacher. She makes it clear what will be on tests and quizzes, and usually gives the question (in ASL) more than once or twice during tests...very leanient. She's a really nice person, easy class

she is a great instructor. i had so much trouble doing asl and she understood. she has no problem repeating things over for us when we dont understand. she is a patient teacher and really nice. i would recommend taking her if you are taking any asl.
