Comment:

Dr Belpedio is tough--there's no doubt about it. I found him very funny and endearing. Very aloof, definitely cold. He knows his stuff. Tough grader, but once you know what he's looking for you can phone the assignments in. I'd recommend him as an elective professor. He will broaden your horizons on things he clearly knows about.

He seems mad all the time and always is insulting people and their "intelligence" which isn?t good for a teacher. Don?t want to ask questions in class for that reason. Treats students like children. He says some inappropriate things. Good luck- he is a terrible grader. He grades grammar and spelling more than the content.

One of my favorite teachers! Makes you work; knows his stuff. Has NO tolerance for immaturity (i.e. freshmen). show up, keep your head down, do your work, and you'll do fine.

At first he seemed okay , but as time rolled on by he seemed more and more egotistical and tyrannical. I've never seen a guy like him before in my life. His test aren't hard they're just graded very very poorly.

I really enjoyed his lecture, he was very knowledgable BUT he is extremely unfair. Ex Despite feeling like I aced his exam ( my answers WERE correct) he failed me- and the rest of the class... he graded more on grammar and spelling than on correct answers of short answer questions. I had the grade overturned later.

Arrogant, doesnt bother to learn students names. Indeed he is very intellegent but his over all attitude of "im better than you" detracts from the class. Makes you work, but is unfair.

best becker has. people just dont like him because he speaks firm and doesnt take any crap from anyone. he's doing you a favor, trust me. i've learned more from him than anyone else. i'll take his class before any other

Took him for Intro to Humanities. He was not helpful & unenthusiastic about the class. When he couldn’t remove points from test grades for wrong answers, he would deduct points for spelling & grammar. Did an A’s worth of work & my grade was an 82. I went to the dean, filed a complaint & got my A.

the guy was pretty eccentric. He didn't pass back a single test for the whole semester! I had no clue how I was doing untill I got my grade. Other than his completely disorganized style he was a good guy.

Does not care about the students. He is very grumpy and his class is hard. There are few grades which he looks at and he fails most of his students. He is too strict and try to take classes he does not teach
