First year of lessons it seems like he hates you, but he hates everyone, and is super awkward around people so will only start being comfortable and nicer after the first year. Not a great teacher, kind of expects everything to be done alone, but such a good performer. Bring scores, mark everything in parts, and be musically decisive.
