Comment:

Likes to play jeopardy the day before an exam with questions that students bring in themselves, so you're not even sure if you are going over the right material. Takes 45 mins to explain one slide on a ppt. Gives a quiz each chapter before even going over the material. Also likes to put people on the spot in the class. Not recommended.

All I can say is that this class does not feel like a college level class. If you want a clear concise path of learning material then this class is not for you. She does not lecture and there is a quiz for every chapter. You have to read and learn on your own in order to understand the material.

A chapter/week. Respond to her questions/scenarios and other students' responses. A more-than-fair amount of work, but manageable. PPT was useless. She doesn't answer emails, but will help you in person. Exams are hard but she suggested a new technique and my next grade was a 100. It's all about reading, taking notes and exam prep. I recommend her.

Not very useful when it comes down to asking questions. She's pretty hard and is never clear on tests and quizzes. I would not recommend her for Principles of Management.

This Professor seems to be a great catch, but really makes the subject not interesting. We received two tests. One tests was several chapters long and the other was a little more than that. With stress of other classes that was impossible to study for. Her papers are not hard and she does a great job preparing you for presentations.

Dr. Jay Mahoney is probably one of the sweetest ladies ever. Her class really isn't too hard if you pay attention. Dont let her fool you the first day when she says she is mean etc. She is kidding. Great class and can be fun.

I hated her! I was in her class for 1 day and wanted out. She's too demanding and she thinks it's funny to tell the class that she's ruthless, mean etc. I didn't get a good impression at all. So I decided to wait and take the class with another professor. I try not to be associated with ridiculous professors.

I took the online BA 306 class with this professor. This course is pointless. Zero interest from the her. She does not reply to emails, tests are impossible - time limits that don't even give you enough time to read the 105 questions so forget about being able to answer them. Worst class I have ever taken.

HR Mgmt Online, only take it pass/fail. 80 min for 125 HARD mult choice questions for 3 exams. You can't read that fast! Internet work interesting for class discussion. Never responds to email questions. Interesting subject matter though. She misses having this be great because of ridiculousness of exams.

Leadership class with her was a nightmare, she demanded way to much, didn't return assignments back and gave the class an online test on the last day of class (on four chapters we didn't go over). Awful!

She is a very knowledgable person. She trys to cover WAY too much information. The whole class is her talking about her powerpoint slides of the chapeters. Sometimes she doesnt even go over some chapters in class but still expects us to know the information for the tests. And her final- it gets me mad for making us do 2 essays but only picks one.

She is a hard teacher. It is hard to learn off the powerpoint slides bc she blows through them like nothing, and she will not remind you of papers or projects due. I dont know if I would recommend her.
