She is super nice and caring but not a good teacher. I really think she should of taught elementary school. She is retiring though!

120A. Unorganized. Ditzy. Unclear. She made this class so boring. She doesn't grade anything until the end of the semester. This wasn't as big of a deal to me, but I felt like the peer reviews were not as helpful as her comments may have been if she had given any. I'll be glad when the class is over in a couple weeks. I'd recommend another professor, but apparently she's retiring after this semester apparently.

This was one of the most confusing teachers I have ever come into contact with and was really awful at giving feedback if you can take classes with a different teacher do she has been at Sac State since she graduated there in the 70s and is still only listed as a guest lecturer that should tell you something.

She is a nice teacher, but that is where the compliments end. No grades were given until the final project and since it was at the end of the semester you had to wait a few weeks (after the semester ended) to see if you passed. Even if you tried your hardest, it is still scary. She was also very vague at times and didn't answer questions directly.

TERRIBLE professor... Very unclear about her class standards, didn't understand her own syllabus and Professor Seehafer wasn't very helpful in class. Her class was more on political issues than they were with anything pertaining to English and writing.

This lady is out of her mind. I have not learned a single thing and I'm stuck with her next semester. I truly believe something is wrong with her! Avoid having her as a professor at all cost!

Most horrible teacher I've ever had. I completely have no idea how she got a teaching job at CSUS. It irritates me of how much of a waste this 3unit course was. You don't learn or improve with her at all. Avoid her class at all cost!

I honestly felt like I was in a horrible middle school class. She's not thorough with her instructions, nor is she focused on what she should be teaching. She is more interested in talking about politics rather than the assignments she gives.

Wish I had read these comments prior to enrollment. Zero clarity on expectations for assignments, nothing but group work, and no grade until it's all been turned in. Taught me to check this website before enrolling for a class.

WHAT THE HECK?! I'm in the class. I feel like I'm in a nightmare. Nothing makes sense. She doesn't even know what we're doing during class. Unprepared. She's rude. Gets mad if you ask about due dates. Learned nothing. I do other hw or play on my phone. POINTLESS. NEVER TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible!

This was by far, the worst class I've ever taken. There are journals, and presentations. I've never got feed back or a grade from. It's may already. It's like a book club, we read about Harry potter and discuss it. Unless you like Harry potter, this isn't a class for you. Also, presenting for 5-10 min on children book isn't do able, or necessary.

I am taking her class now. She never teach anything about English writing in the class. And she doesn't grade any homework. How can we improve our writing if we don't know our grade? There are 4 essays. She said she will give feed back on one of our essays one week before the Portfolio due date!!! We really want to how we did on each assignment.

You do not get to know your grade until the very end of the semester. If you take her, stay on top of all the assignments. She is somewhat unorganized so it's helpful to check up with her to make sure she gave you credit for all your work. If you do everything right, the class will not be hard. The online part of the class is kind of confusing.

This was a hybrid class. The class was also 100% computer based. A lot of group work! The professor is very knowledgeable but a tough grader. I spent a lot of the time confused on what was needed. No tests. Just two major papers and TONS of homework. Prepare to spend a lot of time on this class. But I walked away feeling smarter.

I like the fact that we turned in assignments online. She does tend to ramble on about sometimes unnecessary things and sometimes it feels like she thinks we don't know English or something. She once asked us if we knew what a robot was. -___- Anyway, this class made me feel like I was taking a class in high school.
