I took his class and was floored when he laid out in exact steps how to write a perfect essay. I took notes, followed his blueprint and got an A. And continued getting As, in his class, and on every essay and research paper since then. This man knows how to write and will teach you well.

brutal teacher, will make you write write and write. about 8-10 essays I believe. Take him only if you want to become a great writer or if you are planning a career that has to do with writing. class is focused strictly on grammar. no readings. I believe the class was worth it even though it was demanding.

It's pretty hard to get an A in this class. I got B even tho I've been always getting A in English during my high school years. He's nice and funny though. But he focuses on grammar a lot. So watch out your grammar.

He's very entertaining and he DOES like to ramble on about his daughter... but his teaching style is not that bad. A lot of handouts and an essay every week. I had his class once a week for 3 hours so that's what probably led to the heavy workload.

good teacher. he has a lot of handouts that look like he tore out of a books from the 70's. ANYWAYS, he knows his stuff very well and he will help you to better understand how our language works from phrase construction to writing 10 page papers. take his class if you want to be a better writer.

The coolest English teacher you will ever have in your life! So understanding, very funny man -- always talks about his family. Passes out TONS of dittoes, some as old as your grandparents! Occasionally bangs his fist on the metal podium.
