Jody is awesome. She's smart, quick, and easy to follow. She doesn't like people who fool around in class, which I think is perfect, because we are all paying a lot of money to learn. She's also really fun too, so as long as you take your work seriously she always finds time for fun as well.

Comment:

I had Jody for both 111 & 112. I learned so much from her and really enjoyed her classes. She is a hard grader and expects a lot from her students, which challenged me to do better. I felt she was very fair in her grading and would recommend her highly.

She's cool but, she explained things as if you knew how to do them, and sometimes when you would ask a question, she would respond or look at you as if you were dumb, the t.a. was more friendlier and approachable.

She is one of those teachers that makes a point of being as unhelpful as possible. She thinks her role is only to review what you've learned on your own and tell you where you went wrong. She also goes way too fast when showing you examples, everyone gets lost and she doesn't seem to care.

She was one of the MOST helpful teachers I've had at Harrington! She was incredibly knowledgable and answered the BILLION questions I asked her during class. She even let me come in while she was teaching other classes and ask question. I never saw her not being willing to help anyone!

Jody is an extremely helpful and down to earth teacher. I would recommend taking her if you have a basic knowledge of drafting already, as she sometimes moves quickly, but she is willing to help students who fall behind.

THE WORST TEACHER EVER. was more interested in talking to our TA than helping us. when sick from class, not willing to let you make up work and then made you feel like an idiot when you even prooved you were ill... CANNOT stand her. Terrible.. don't take her, save your money and frustration.
