He's one of many reason why higher education should be free. Solve 99% of the problem correct and that one mistake will cost you "instant F" which he likes to give. Easy A if you have previous exams. Overall As%wipe.

Comment:

Capstone is where you will meet him if your not in the Bio-instrumentation track. Great professor, teach you life lessons and work experience in the biomedical engineering world. Will push you to your limit so don't try to hide behind your group if you tend to because he will call you out consistently.

Comment:

Schesser seems abrasive at first but he is usually joking or trying to make you understand the material. Lectures are pretty boring so if you zone out and learn the material on your own you can get a pretty good grade still. His grading is pretty fair. Exams are really similar to old ones. The final was hard but he curves.

Great professor. Took him over the summer. He might seem like he's picking on you when he asks you questions but really he's trying to make sure you understand what's going on. Tests are very similar to the old ones. Overall a really nice guy that wants you to do well. If you don't understand something, ask him after class or in office hours.

Had him for most of my instrumentation courses plus capstone 1 and 2. By this point I have completely understood the man. He is the most misunderstood instructor in the department. In reality, he is willing to help people. And if any of you make it as far as I have, you'll find out he's the best in the dept.

He is a nice guy n very smart. He will remember ur name from first meeting. If u got lower grade, he will personally call u n tell u to redo ur exam n that helps a lot. His final is NON-CUMULATIVE, which is good.

He is the best prof ever...knows his stuff and encourages people to put problems on board..This class is not a joke and U need to work hard..I failed my first exam due to emergency but I did well on other two exams and I got good grade..do not procrastinate. He wants u to work after the problems and exams are not bad at all if u have done your hw

he is the WORST professor i have had so far. I am doing relatively well in any other class. Dosent know what he is talking about. If you take instrumentation, he WILL screw you up, because he takes most of the Instrumentation classes. If you piss him off, you should know that you are getting C+ or below. instrumentation majors should try to convince their advisors to just let them take the ECE electronics and signals courses. You learn to memorize. makes you hate electronics and instrumentation in general.

This guy knows how to ruin your academic life and goals. He makes you hate instrumentation with a passion simply because he gets no respect in the BME dept. No grant, a windowless room next to the storage room. How hateful can you be to ruin the lives and future of other people.
