I will start by saying Dr. Prozzi is wonderful as a person. However, he did a very poor job of moving to online. Attendance quizzes every class day were worth 1/3 of our grades. The multiple choice portion of tests was timed for each individual question. Attendance and exam grade averages were in the upper 50s despite average content difficulty.

I really enjoyed Dr. Prozzi's lecture, he really understands and explains the material well. The most important thing is to show up and actively participate in his class, because he bases a portion of your grade off of this. The textbook and homework are also very good at preparing you for the exams, and the discussion sessions are helpful.

Participation is extremely important. It is a good chunk of your grade and he grades it harshly. He's an extremely nice guy and he knows his stuff. However, the entire class is based out of the textbook, all of the homeworks, test questions, and pop quizzes. So yes, actually pay some attention to the textbook. Also, ASCE test bank saves you

You MUST go to class if you want to do well . He grades subjectively so if you participate and show you care then he will bump you. However, I went to every class and still didn't do well. He also does not upload any grades to Canvas so you won't know how you are doing in the class until you see it on the registrar...

Dr. Prozzi is amazing! My favorite prof at UT so far. He genuinely cares about how everyone is doing. He will make you work hard though - the class isn't easy! PARTICIPATION IS A MUST!!! If you participate a lot, he will most likely bump up your grade! Super sweet guy. Lots of opportunities for extra points too. Take it with him!

This guy WILL teach what statistics and probability is all about. I honestly liked to be challenged by professor and go the extra mile to earn my grade. This guy made me sweat, bleed and cry, but I actually learned all the material and it has been extremely helpful in my job
