Joe is an incredibly passionate teacher who has a wealth of knowledge to share. Our course was discussed-based with three major papers due during the semester. If you pay attention and participate, you'll come away from this class a citizen of the world. I highly recommend him, plus he's pretty cute for his age.

What a disappointment. Unclear about many assignment guidelines, often flip-flops on what it is he's actually looking for. Even if you seek guidance for papers, and follow all of his suggestions, be prepared for a disappointing grade. Incredibly disorganized, quite full of himself, gives off a creepy vibe. Tests are on material never even covered.

I've had this profile. twice. I am in the program he helped create, the EVT Program. I thoroughly enjoy his classes and the discussions we have. He got flack from some students here about not giving papers back, and sometimes he takes a while but he reads everything and gives great feedback with his comments. He's involved with many cool things

Professor always arrived 10 mins. late to class. Took forever to give papers back if he ever even gave them back. Horrible with time management; stretched first papers out way too long and then assigned tons of projects due for the last week. Will sit there and talk & talk about his thoughts & feelings instead of the work. Its Comp, not psychology.

Prof. Modugno is an awesome guy, he is fun, intelligent, and has a brilliant mind. I very much enjoy listening to his lectures. Only downside is he takes quite a while to give back papers to students. Other than that he's 100%

Very interesting and fun class. I learned a lot. He got me thinking! Prof. M. is also very real and human--a great guy with a sense of humor as well as intelligence. He puts the class at ease and makes learning the priority. I recommend him.

He got me thinking about some of the bigger questions. And he is serious about his work but not a stiff or unreasonable like some others I?ve had. He is pretty cool too. I recommend him. My one complaint is you have to wait a week or more sometimes to get papers back.
