First half of semester did classic folklore, second half was contemporary folklore/urban legends. Weekly journals and discussion board posts with a midterm and final paper. Lots of in-class discussions on reading and discussion board posts. Always gives feedback and answers email promptly. Enthusiastic about her subject and ready to help students.

I had Dr. Lanzendorfer for ENGL 104 and really liked her. She checks her email often and is very helpful. One thing I didn't like is that she babied us a bit. Other than that one little thing I really enjoyed her as a professor. She gives PLENTY of time for papers :)

You get two fairytale books for her class, read certain stories, and them relate some of them into a mid-term and a final paper that are each 10+ pages long. You also have weekly forums about random topics on the week. The reading kept me interested in the class, teacher? Not so much. But wasn't very hard to get a decent grade in the class.

Took an online Master's class with this prof. Maybe it was because it was online, but she wasn't helpful, hard to get a hold of any other time and sometimes made me feel stupid because I didn't know all that she did. But, I did my readings and kept up with class and still got an A.

Eh. I found her somewhat annoying to listen to and not very helpful when it came to lecture. If you read the book you'll be better off than her lecturing. Easy grader, but not worth taking due to dullness.

Decent instructor, however I was bothered that she always started class 2 or 3 minutes before class time, and I felt like I was late if I was on time. Class always ran ten minutes past the :50 end, but then at the exam she cut me off at :50.
