where do I begin... Dr.V is the worst teacher I've had since the first grade. She is god awful at teaching the course and allows her social /medical issues get in the way of her students learning. Her lectures are like watching paint dry. On the way to class I often thought of driving off of a bridge. Do not , I repeat DO NOT take her class.

Dr.v was one of the hardest teacher I've ever had. She is always late and allows her social life to get in the way of her teaching. She is a good teacher for people in the nursing field because she knows her stuff but for any other major she is confusing and uses term I've never heard of. Overall I wouldn't recommend taking her for this class.

Not an easy class but a good one. Grading is tough but fair, there's a LOT to learn but she's extremely clear about what you need to study and when. Clearly knows the subject inside and out. Lectures are slightly on the dull side but overall don't regret taking this class at all.

Professor V lets her personal life affect her students ablity to learn. Between health issues, family issues, she always is filled with excuses and reasons why she was late. She is late and notifies public safety so students have to wait for her to get there 20-40 minutes late. She often has subsitute professors because of how often she missesCLASS

Dr. V is a very intelligent professor but her style of teaching is unorganized. Follow the study guide she gives in class for each unit. Make sure to study well for the lab especially, this was where I fell short (dont be like me that learnt the hard way after the first lab exam!). There are two lab exams and theyre worth 50% of the final grade!

She doesn't count spelling on practicals and exams because she is dyslexic. She has a lot of health issues, but will help you whenever you need it. She has a very boring voice, but she knows what she is talking about. I plan on taking her for A&P 2 next semester. 1 paper (on your own topic), 5 quizzes, and 3 exams (including final).

I loved her. I understand how others may feel. Anatomy and Physiology I and II are really hard. I studied like crazy, asked for her help, which she freely gave. I thought requiring APA format for citations was a superb idea - that is the only acceptable format in nursing school, if that's where you're headed. She gives lots of extra credit.

Dr. V is one of the most unorganized professors. She accused me of plagiarism because I didn't cite using some format. She doesnt use blackboard. Tests are very hard. She has a attitude and teaches like we should know the stuff. The lectures are horrible. She talks and scribbles her thoughts on the board. It's all up to you and how hard you study.

First shes very verbal. 90% of the class you will see her back side as she writes. She speaks at a higher level, when you ask her to break it down it's like she can't. She's very heavy in histology for lab practical 8-10 microscope per practical vs 1-2 with other teachers. Very hard grader! You will have to teach yourself. Follow your instinct DROP

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! It's overwhelming! She is very rushed and late to all of the classes. Her labs are confusing and you feel as if you are on your own. She communicates well one on one. But her communication with the class as a whole is poor. Be prepared to remember everything but not have most of the info appear on the exam or quiz.

We took finals today and of all assignments we did I have only one quiz grade posted for 10 points back in the beginning of the semester. She is very disorganized and its frustrating because you don't know what to study. She gives you study guides but they are so broad its basically an inventory of the textbook rather than what's on her tests.

Dr V is always late and always has something going on (sick kid, pet, health problems) and as a result, her students suffer. She just writes on the board the entire class, and not clear on what she is even writing about. Dr V is disorganized, and that includes her teaching style, her classes are always far behind so she tends to rush thru material

She expects a lot and gives some of the hardest tests you will ever see at CCBC. Her term paper is due very early in the semester and it is extremely hard. She reads the information directly off hundreds of slides and its on you to figure it out test day. Do not take this professor.

Great teacher. Very clear about what will be on test. Even gives you a review sheet!! Read her powerpoints everything you need will be on there. PAY ATTENTION when she mentions short answer questions for tests. she will give you the entire answer. This course itself requires a lot of work dont blame her if you do poorly because you didnt study.

I really enjoyed taking dr. V as my anatomy teacher, for both one and two! There are some ppl who think she's a bit difficult! But I really enjoyed her teaching style! She is always straight forward on what to expect for exams and practicals! If you are ever lost she will go above and beyond to explain the material to you! She goes right off her study guides for exams and practicals! So as long as you study you should be fine! I gained so much knowledge from her, she's an extremely intelligent person! I would recommend to anyone who is willing to put the effort in her class!

I took Dr.V for biology 220, and it was one of the hardest classes I'd ever taken. Teaching method was sporadic and unorganized. Always late for class. If you want a good grade in this class be prepared to teach yourself. Her study guides are long and most of the time she doesn't even pull from them on the exams.

The exams were pretty tough, considering 55% is multiple choice 45% is open ended and she expects details. She gives study guides for test, good detailed power points, and a lot of class notes. She also answers questions and explains things you dont understand especially if you come to her office hours. Very nice lady. But not easy at all.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to take this class I came here just like you to read the reviews and said the heck with it this the only teacher left so I will make the best of it WRONG! She is a tough grader and her reviews for her test are pages long then she will tell you to add additional info. The test are multiple choice, and essay questions!

Dr. V is tough but really helpful. Study guides have everything you need to know, if she deviates from it on an exam, she adds points to everyone's score. Extra credit. 1 paper, MUST CITE or lose a letter grade. Many people complained about this. All I can say is read the syllabus. Practicals are doable if you STUDY! In general, study her ppts.
