Comment:

Dr. Weingarden is eccentric but is caring and supportive. If you take more than one of her classes she will love you. She goes on tangents during her lectures but has a great time teaching and you will too if you are engaged. Being in her class might be a wild ride but in the end you will love her and want to have her again.

Comment:

Probably one of my favorite professors. Her tests aren't hard per se, but they will require some studying. She really tries to break down the reasoning behind separate art movements and the styles of their individual artists. She's a little eccentric, but honestly the sweetest lady ever. You will most definitely enjoy her class!!

I LOVE DR. WEINGARDEN, she is an amazing professor! She really love the material she teaches and it's very apparent. She takes the time out to try to get to know you and is extremely helpful when it comes to what she expects of her students on assignments.

Took a course with her and Dr. Boutin on 19th Century Paris. Absolutely fascinating course. Loved it and would recommend it to anyone. She expects you to read much, and comprehend. An excellent writer. You will learn a great deal. Be prepared to work. If you are a serious student, you will like her. (The combo of 2 profs meant double work though)!

Seems really hard when you start but shes great. The syllabus is very intimitating. She makes it easy though, study guides, early essay questions, & shes always there to help. There is a lot of work but she makes sure you learn art history. If you don't want to do much work don't take her but I HIGHLY recommend her.

Dr. Weingarden is a very good teacher. She presents the information in a way that is easy to understand and even funny sometimes. She is always willing to help if you dont understand. If you go to class and pay attention and do the reading the class will be a breeze.

I am taking her class right now too & love it. She is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and it shows in her enthusiam for the class. she is available for help and is willing to go out of her way to make sure you pass her tests, that are really difficult. whoever made the last bitter comment must have failed our midterm.
