Lynn is a very tough professor. Sh is EXTREMELY nit-picky when it comes to papers. She will tell you to cite something even if there's nothing to cite. She is not helpful at all! IF you send her an email asking for help or if you have a question she will not answer you directly and tell you to find your answer somewhere else. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Lynn is a great Composition Teacher! She was very kind to me. She gave me very good advice on how to improve my paper that I wrote. I would've took her again but it didn't work out the way I hoped to.

Comment:

One of the best professors I have ever been taught by. Gives clear instructions, cares about her students, is hilarious, and works hard to ensure that everybody understands and enjoys the material. Every class was engaging and brought everyone to have discussions. She's great and you're in good hands if you get her for Comp1.

Would take again! Gives great feedback, really cares about her students, even online. Checks in over email so it still "feels" like class. Tells you exactly what to do to earn an A and really cares that you get there. Fair grader and doesn't assign busy work or reading that isn't useful. Reading was usually interesting and modern. TOTALLYrecommend

Her class consists of mostly her making fun of people. In a joking way, but it's not funny (and this is coming from someone who makes fun of people in a joking way). She will ask a question and then keep on talking and not let anyone answer and then say no one is participating. She also gets off track a lot.

She's the type of teacher that actually cares about her students. She gets to know all of her students. Lynn is very humorous, you basically get what you put in. If you do not show up for class you will not pass. If you show up late she will pick on you for the rest of the class. (jokingly of course) Highly recommend her class.

Always hated writing a lot, but she made it as enjoyable as possible. She was really nice and would always help by reading my paper and making suggestions. All of the work took tons of time, but if you do it, put in the time, and reach out to her for help, you should do good. She also helped me out of class which I'm extremely grateful for.

Fantastic teacher!!! She gave me everything i needed to succeed in all of my future classes with the proper technique to write papers and a new understanding about literature! I would definitely take her again in a heart beat. If you do what she wants, you will succeed in her class and in your future classes as well.

Fantastic teacher, gives clear expectations. Loves her subject and is there for the students. I have even seen her reach out to students she was concerned about. Highly recommend her, teaches you the skills you need to succeed.

She's very patient-will explain things again until the class gets it. Very helpful via email - usually responds same day or ASAP the next day. Great sense of humor. Class was very interesting - not a dull moment! If you love to write, this will be easy. If you don't, well...you might find the class tough. But as a professor, she's fair & helpful.

Professor Clarkson was a great teacher, if you didnt understand an essay or assignment she would email you the same day or the next day. I took her online class so you have to put in the time and effort but if you complete the work and follow her requirements on assignments you will get an A. I would definitely recommand taking a class with her.
