Molly is the best Professor I had ever had. She really cares about her students. Her tests are not difficult if you study and she gives many extra credit opportunities. I would 100% recommend! Its not that hard to get an A.

Comment:

Molly is a real gem! I loved her so much and she really knew how to keep her class entertained. She is such a caring person and she does have a textbook but I would only use that for her exams which were open notes. She offers a bunch of extra credit points which really boost your grade. I will miss her class a lot!!

Molly literally changed my life as a professor. If you have the option to be taught by her, DO IT. She is incredible and very understanding. She hands out well over 25 points of extra credit that can boost your grade immensely and she is so inclusive

Comment:

THE BEST PROF at Penn State. This class was so interesting and keeps students engaged. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities. Definitely study for the exams and you'll be in great shape. She wants you to succeed so badly be sure to engage! She's the "mom" teacher you loved growing up but better.

Comment:

Molly's one of the sweetest and smartest people I've ever met and cares deeply for all of her students. The person who said the class gets off track because she talks about her family too much is wrong; her family is incorporated into discussions relevant to class. The tests can be difficult but if you study and go to office hours you should be ok.

Comment:

I'm going to get downvoted, but I'm being honest. She spends most of her lectures talking about her family or politics, and we are pretty far behind in lecture material because she gets off on tangents so easily. Exams are difficult for a class of this nature and may have a "most correct answer" which gets tricky. There's definitely better quality.

She is awesome!! I absolutely loved this class. Instead of HDFS 129 it should be called "how to live a happy life 101". Seriously, it should be a PSU requirement to enroll in this class. Definitely study for the exams as they can be tricky but nothing too crazy. I highly reccomend this course to everyone.

The greatest Professor I have ever taken. She is also a magnificent human being. The lectures are so amazing that it is truly a loss if you miss any. Molly is kind and just gets it. I plan on taking every other course she offers. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe her. The class is awesome as well.

Molly is the best professor Ive had at Penn State. Her lectures are fun, shes a very open and genuine professor. The class had almost 600 kids in it but you feel this sense of care from here. I wish I could take this class again with her. Upset the school year had to end early with her as my professor

Molly was the best professor I had while at PSU. She is so caring towards her students, and makes a large lecture class seem so personal and comfortable for everyone. If you get the chance to have her as a professor and take this course, 100% do it! I wish this class didn't have to end, as she really made waking up and walking to Thomas so worth it

Molly is THE best professor PSU has, and everyone needs to take HDFS 129. Her lectures are AMAZIN, you will learn so much about yourself. She does a lot of story telling in class that relate to topics you talk about which I loved. She does clicker points for attendance. If you pay attention in class and read over notes the tests are really easy.

Molly is THE BEST. Her lectures are so engaging because she tells a lot of personal stories that help connect the material you're learning to real life situations. She is so laid back and relaxed (you start every class with a meditation session) and really cares about the well being of her students. Don't need to buy textbook.

Love Molly! she is so kind, personable, and funny. Her lectures are interesting and fun to attend. She is understanding and although she has many students, you can meet with her if you reach out and schedule a time. You learn a lot in this class. Tests are kinda hard, I studied so much and didn't do very well, so make sure to study and write notes

Molly is so engaging and fun to listen to during lectures! You leave class feeling like you've just learned so much, and the notes translate exactly to what's going to be on the exams. The tests aren't difficult, you just have to actually review all the concepts and make sure you're paying attention in class. Loved how she used real life examples.

love molly! she's a really open person and her lectures are engaging. if you study from the notes, you'll be fine for exams. she also gives extra credit which i think really helped my grade from a B+ up to an A. attendance isn't mandatory, but i believe its definitely helpful for content and to up your grade (iclicker points!)
