Natasha Pravaz takes little effort to prepare for class, showed up late multiple times and did not prepare us well for tests. She barely taught us and relied heavily on small group discussions. Not a great teacher nor support system, and I had did not enjoy my time in her class. The only reason I showed up was for participation.

Was a decent prof in class, but inside her office hours she was a total be-otch. I respectfully went to her with questions on the midterm and highlighted areas of the textbook that said what I had written on the midterm and she told me my "interpretations were wrong" according to hers and told me to learn something before I came back.

Took a few 200 and 300 level courses with this prof, she was great. Always prepared for class, had a good balance between tests, participation, and assignments and was a fair marker. Readings were relevant to class and needed to be known for tests. Always approachable and appreciative of students that engaged the course material.

What a very nice, caring woman! Makes sure her students understand what she expects from them, and is always willing to help them out. Tests were kind of problematic, but overall her great teaching skills are worth taking any of her Anthropology classes.

So adorable, always has a smile on her face. She is very clear in her lectures and even goes back if someone doesn't finish writing down their notes. At the beginning of the year she didn't use WebCT but by the middle she switched over to it, which made things helpful as she has MANY slides! She is very passionate in what she teaches

Dr. Pravaz is very passionate about her material. She teaches compassion and understanding for culture and is willing to live her life in a counter-cultural way to drive home her point. She actually buses to work each day. She sets a great example!

I love this prof. She is intelligent and repects her students. Shes new at laurier, and by far was the best prof i had! Charasmatic and gives us what we deserve. Her tests/midterms are fair and what she teaches, unlike other profs! Ur GR8-Thushyanthan. K
