Lives out of state and takes days to reply to emails. Never posts to blackboard, only once after the midterm. You go into the midterm not having a clue how you're doing in the class. Midterm is 80 questions, no study guide. Is not clear on how she wants things done. Heavy textbook use and lots of tedious discussion posts. I would not take again!!!!

Online and lives out of state. So, don't expect to be able to access her beyond email. Other one test, never posts to Blackboard. Even after getting a grade for the class, never knew what I got on the final. Heavy textbook use and a lot of discussions. (Try to not miss more than one or two) Okay professor, but wish she was a bit more hands on.

TOOK THIS IN A 2 WEEK WINTER CLASS, COULD HAVE GONE THROUGH IT WITHOUT THE BOOK - WAS ABLE TO GOOGLE MOST OF THE TEXTBOOK TO PULL UP ON MY COMPUTER RATHER THAN USING A TEXTBOOK. SHE DOESN'T GRADE ANYTHING UNTIL AFTER THE CLASS ENDS. NOT THE EASIEST ONLINE CLASS. LEARNED A DECENT AMOUNT THOUGH

prof. Jain means well and cares for her students. her lectures kind of drag on but they get the job done. my advice to anyone taking this class is to not fall behind. go see her during her office hours if you need help shes a really cool person. also, study hard for the final.

Fantastic class to play a game of hearthstone in. She wont cover materials on the exams (or any material). Your midterm and final will be formatted completely different from each other. So you'll never know what to expect.

Horrible professor. Doesn't talk about any of the material we are supposed to be learning. She doesn't teach she just sometimes will mention something as if we already know what it is. This class you have to completely learn everything on your own and class time is her rambling about her own stupid stories. SO boring and awful.

Learned more about India and her dogs than class material. She goes quick, is willing to explain but accent can make it hard to understand at times. Two exams, pretty difficult, have to study without a doubt. Make sure to get on her good side quick!

took this class online and she was AWFUL. didn't help anyone at all and her teaching material was used straight from the book. about a week before the semester was over she decided to assign a 12 page paper totally disregarding her syllabus. she may have been easier prior summers but not this year. do not take this class online.

I took her online and was nervs after reading all of these comments, but honestly it was an easy class and she was very clear and understanding, and I finished with an A.its online so maybe in class shes completely diff to deal with but ba350 ol 3 tests, answers straight out of book and some online discussion boards. overall recommend

Renuka Jain has a great heart, but you better take her online. In class she is not challenging, and very boring. No ofense, but her accent makes it very hard to understand her. Exams are tough, she prob. thinks she is teaching at an Indian level. Oh, and examples in class are based of foods, nothing relating with management. Good Luck!

There's something about her that I like a alot. She's quirky. Yes sometimes her stories take all class to talk about but she always gives her lectures as well. Not much homework, do the readings and the test is mostly all key terms. Super easy if you read and listen to her stories. Personally I think she's quite nice, helpful,and really funny!
