I took this class to fill a requirement, thinking that it would not be that bad, boy was i wrong. this professor is a nice guy but can't teach worth much anymore. he wont write things on the board, cant hear your questions and sometimes totally ignores them. his tests are filled with hard to understand questions, not to mention bad grammar. 1/5

OMG! This poor man, you cant hear him, and he scribles small on the board. He uses unreadable illustrations on the overhead, if u ask something, he cant hear you. Theres a big communication problem. Hes a nice man and knows his stuff but it doesnt matter if he cant teach it. I love bio but he makes it confusing, I droped the class!

he is really nice, he is a lil old man that will help you as much as he can but the class is really hard because its bio, there are no power points he teaches everything from his brain and he is really smart but you can barly hear him and can not really understand some of his words due to his accent 1 test per6 ch.but will let retake if class fails

He is a good teacher. bad thing is hard to understand him. test are based on lectures. he stand front of the class and give lectures. but what if we cant understand his words? 90% of students have hard time to understand him. good thing is he will pass those students who study hard. which means more than 75% students end up with C or better grade.

He might be hard of hearing & have an accent but give him a break, he's old! But that just means he has a lot of experience and knowledge about what he's teaching(= Study off of lectures and do some reading and you'll be fine. Quizzes are not part of your grade and he gives the answers to them afterward so its easy to get a good grade on exams.

He is a very nice man and willing to help, however he does have a hearing problem and talks rather softly. Most tests are based on his lectures and not the book, so read the material and take good notes. If you miss a test he will accomidate you. There is very little homework since most of the work you do is in the lab.

Take this instructor as a last resort. Very hard to understand his accent, lecturing is horrible. Be prepared to do alot of reading of te text to understand. Tests are worth alot of points as well, so if you miss 4 questions you already scored a d.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. no one in our class could understand his acccent, and if you have a question, good luck b/c he cannot hear you! There are no study guides, just tests on random, small items. Many of the tests have spelling errors, and erros in tense which make them hard to understand. He is a very nice man, but not the best teacher.

i took his bio-1 class last spring and he was great. he helps you if you ask and he is always available when you need him. he genuinely cares for his students and he enjoys to teach. he is a cool guy once you get to know him. Science is one of my weakest areas and I got a B- so that says alot about his teaching style!

He seems like a nice man but he is very moody. One minute he's smiling and the next minute he wants to bite your head off because you asked a question. The book is a waste of money because the tests are soley based on his lectures. But - it's hard to take adequate notes because you can barely understand his accent. Labs are fun though. Good luck!

he is extremly difficult and his accent makes it hard to understand him. his class is based on quizes which are difficuly because the questions are not in the book or on the lecture... He tells you that he is willing to help but doesn't i would not recomend this professor to anyone who needs this class

Terrible Teacher. Would not reccomend to anyone. Not willing to answer questions or help students. Can't hear well, not clear about what's on tests. Terrible text book, not enough explanation. Doesn't have a lesson plan ready for class, makes it up as he goes sometimes.

I luv mr behin he has a cute accent&makes me laugh.no he doesnt write on the board but it doesnt take a rocket scientist 2 know how 2take notes.im doing great inhis class &on his tests.he gives makeup tests,works around ur schedule.tests R mainly on notes SO just take good notes.the class is hard not the teacher,he tries hard to help the students

One of the most caring and interesting professors I've ever had. Ask lots of questions, do the labs and you'll have no problem. Mr. Behin takes complicated concepts and makes them easy to understand. More than willing to put in extra time with students. Take Mr. Behin if Biology is not your forte`.

Pros: Professor Behin is more than willing to help any of his students that are struggling. He'll take as much time as needed to make sure you understand the lecture material. Also, there is no homework. Cons: Quizzes make up a HUGE portion of your grade, some can be pretty tough and misleading. Make sure you study the details. It was an ok c

This teacher is very nice and willing to help. At first, it seems like it will be a difficult class once you get into it, it's not too bad. Just make sure you take good notes, he tests mainly off of his lectures! He cares about his students and will stay after class to help tutor those who need help
