I took Criminal Law online and the format of the class worked well for me. I didn't get much feedback from him, but maybe that was because my assignments were all correct the first time (I came out of the class with an A). The quizzes weren't hard, and the short answer/essay tests were fun and made me think.

As scary and intimidating as this professor may seem, hes the most gentle but brutally caring man Ive ever met. His class applied so much to our real life, and his teachings WILL create the foundation for any CJ student. He is not afraid to check you, and if you put in the work, you will honestly be fine.

Prof. Boulware was an amazing crim law professor, with much experience in practicing law. He is very understanding & really wants every student to do well in class. There was one group project that gave extra credit to the most successful group, so keep that in mind. His exams were all short answer/essay so it helps if you can write quickly!

This is the only class I've taken at BHCC which actually feels like a college level class. Boulware is a great lecturer but if you don't intend on showing up or reading the book I don't think you can pass this class. Tests are extremely long and some not clearly explained. Can be a tricky class to be in unless you're on top of your game.

He is an amazing professor! He truly inspired me in every possible way! I had him for Street Law, Evidence/Court Procedure and Criminal Procedure and all I can say is come to class prepare! READ READ READ! He likes to recap a lot from what he said in previous classes so take notes and do your homework!

One of the best professors I have had. I took him my first semester with Abel and fell in love with them both. He knows what he is talking about and is very fair. You get out of the class what you put into it. If you pay attention and do the work and readings you will pass and stay on his good side.

Class is basically self taught, he only defines the terms that we will need throughout the class. Directions given are often changed and misleading, not clear in what he expects. doesn't really help that much. Class work is mostly done in groups, so if one or two people in the group don't do the work you end up with a bad grade. WOULD NOT TAKE

Boulware is a greta Professor! He is simply doing his job and that is teaching at a college level. Although he may come off strong he is easy going. He truly wants to see his students excel and that is by making sure you know the material. I will be taking him again.

If you're looking for a challenge with a friendly professor, Professor Boulware is your guy. He's a tough grader and makes you think, but if you put in the effort, you'll do just fine. He has a great sense of humor to lighten the mood.

I had to make a post because Professor Boulware truly is an amazing teacher. He is tough and there was so much to learn in a short amount of time. There were times I felt overwhelmed but i have never taken so much away from a class afterwards. There are things i learned that i will never forget. Mock-Trial was challenging but by far the best part.

He is tough, but that his job, he have to teach us, not to be nice to us. Students should be honest with him, be on time with assignments, and they will have a good grade. I will take my third semester with him, and i know what to expect from him.
