Great professor. Very smart, knows the answer to any questions you ask him. Sometimes digresses in lectures but if you do the homework and study the test review sheet he gives you'll do well on tests. I don't understand where these negative ratings are coming from. You get what you put in, just don't be lazy.

Really nice guy but jumps into material like you should know what he is talking about. I personally thought his tests did not correspond well with examples he gave us to study.

Meh. You can tell that Professor Goettle is a nice person, but he wasn't the greatest professor I've had at Northeastern. Granted, I have no interest in Finance so I was bored out of my mind the entire class, but he doesn't do nearly enough applicable problems to prepare you for the tests. My Finance Lab study plans will be your saving grace.

He is one of the best professors I have ever had!Don't hesitate to ask him any qestion you have because he is very nice and helpful!Also,he is very prepared and organized! If you want to learn, please be prepared before his class by scanning the book and understanding the topic. Please try your best to solve the problems at the end of each chapter.

Goettle is kind of a mix bagged. Personally, I thought he was a great teacher but he moves quickly and you can get lost easily if you're not paying attention. The good thing about his class is that he'll tell you exactly what is going to be on the tests and the homeworks really help you understand the material. Nice guy, as well.

Professor Goettle seems to be misunderstood by many students. I had him a couple of years ago and considered him to be one of the most qualified professors to date. I think that most don't like Goettle because he moves quickly and expects a lot. That, to me, is the definition of a GOOD teacher.

allows 2 pages of notes on tests but throws problems he's never explained on them! or changes problem around to a variation you didnt even know existed! great lecturer thou. all math problems, no vocab no multiple choice. make sure you go to class and take notes, cuz the book is confusing/nothelpful

Other teachers offer multiple choice tests which sounds a lot easier than his tests. heavy math, heavy multiple step questions. He is a very helpful nice guy, but prob not an easy A if you aren't planning becoming a Finance major.

Decently hard class. If you are damn good at math..this is your teacher...all exams are calculations...no vocab, no ques...The math is pretty hard, but u get to use 2pgs of notes on tests.

He cares for his students and he is trying to teach a lot of things from the real world.His tests are not that hard especially if u do the homework assignments. He tries to make things simple but he is not always successful in that aspect.
