Very bad teacher. Had him for diesels lab and would not help at all with the breakdown and rebuild at all. He would sit there and watch you do it wrong and not tell you how to fix it.

Knowledge of the subject was very good. Class was very predictable every week. I would have liked the format to be changed to keep the class more interested. I do not feel as though having "group exams" is fair at all no matter how much of a "real world experience" it is. I enjoyed the class/teaching, but imrovments can always be made.

His way of teaching with just powerpoint does not work. I learned more in Refers Lab with McMurray than in the actual class. Great guy but not my style of teaching. Quizzes and tests are acceptably on the difficult side. Term project sucks!

I learned a lot however it was not through the teaching. It was all power points, I pretty much could have taught my self by going over the slides and reading the book in my room.Test and quizes were impossible due to the lack of preparation and insight given into them. All in all your A good guy bad teacher

Refrigeration is not a hard subject, but the way he went about teaching and grading the class made it impossible to get a good grade. All of the lessons were too open ended, and there was no focus on what to study. My worst grade so far at this school will be in his class.

There is a lot of homework that takes a lot of time but it prepares you for the tests very well. If you do what you're supposed to do he is very willing to help you however he can. If you do your work it is a very easy class to get an A in.

Homework overload that is way too time consuming.This class would be better if it involved more working in class so that help is available for problems ran into.Classmates doing work in cadlab are just as confused as the other.Homework should not affect test grading since they are 2 diff things.
