Having this professor for my online Geography class was a problem. I don't know how the professor is in real life, but do not ever take him as an online class, it'll be a hassle.

Comment:

I took this class online, it is the only class I need in life science for my degree plan. From the get go, this class is unorganized. The professor is out of touch with the students. The test are open book, but are extremely through. The midterm, well no one passed the midterm. There have been many technical issues, and it affects grades. DONOTTAKE

Comment:

This professor has made several remarks that make me feel insignificant and small, when it comes to being a student. He does not provide any study material, and when you ask for help, he gives sarcastic remarks when you have a question. I strongly recommend not to take any classes. His teaching methods need work, and a lot of it!

He doesn't provide any study material so get ready to read the whole book! He makes the tests difficult as well. My class made grades 70-24 on the midterm so that tells you something. Make sure you have PLENTY of time to study for this class. If geography isn't your major I wouldn't take this class as an elective.

Comment:

Interesting material but get ready to read the whole book and take a crazy amount of notes. I struggled a lot with this class and thought I would fail because my grade kept showing 60s but he curved the grade in the end and worked out perfectly for me. He responds to emails and tries to be helpful but would not recommend if you have a busy schedule

I learned ALOT in this class, being that he is a doctor, it was VERY difficult! I made it through though, and with a C. It is a lot of studying, I dont suggest this teacher if you not a geography major or dont love geography. He is hard but fair, you put in the time, he will give you the grade. He is also very good about returning emails.

Dr. R is a great teacher. I highly recomend this professors for self starters who want to establish contacts in the GIS world. He knows alot of people and can help you get a job. He has a great ciriculum which can only be approached with regular attendance and participation.

Comment:

Dr. Rudnicki is a genuinely nice person, and I do like him a lot. Also, his depth of knowledge is very extensive. However, his teaching methods are not as good as they could be. Essentially I feel that I wasted my money taking this course.

I didn't learn anything in this class. It was completely worthless. This professor rambled on and on everyday. It's a computer class basically, and we haven't even touched the application in about 6 weeks!

Incredibly knowledgeable on everything to do with geography. Often acts as if he doesn't know how to do something, but he is just pushing you to figure it out yourself.
