Sidney Trantham is terrific prof. Although he may seem aloof at first, he is a warm guy with a quirky sense of humor when he loosens up. He is clear in expectations, but also a stickler for detail, so cross the T's and dot all i's. Very open to challenge & encourages interesting class discussion. Class is enhanced by his clinical expertise.

he was the most amazing teacher I ever had. relates everything in class to real life. exams are very hard, lots of memorization, just work hard and he will recognize it. One paper assignment and 3 tests. I learned so much from him, i was sad the class was over!

Trantham was a great prof he was very helpful and was very nice. He is really smart and knows his stuff... The test are really hard so you really need to study but he gives a lot of extra credit! he designs the class for everyone to do well.

Good teacher, friendly and listens to the students. Encourages intellectual debates and the class had a healthy exchange of ideas between opposing viewpoints. Class has LOTS of reading and attendance was taken at the beginning of class. Definitely passionate about teaching and learning. Sometimes, a little 'know it all' attitude but overall, great!

Prof. Trantham's psych 101C class was great! I was a great class and I can't believe how much I have walked away from it. He does a great job trying to explain to you the MANY concepts and terms and uses real life situations which helps a lot. I loved this class and if you get the chance to take it with him, I suggest you do so!!!

I really enjoyed this class with professor Tranthum. The class was a lot of work but it helped prepare us for the future. Towards the end of the semester we had a lot of work to do and I felt like we were rushed to complete and to learn the lesson plan but I did a great job.
