Soos is a great professor! I learned a lot during this accelerated class. There is a lot of work, but it is only to help you learn.

It definitely isn't hard to get a good grade in this class, but there is a lot of work. There are discussion posts every week, online homework, and a short paper at the end of every unit. There's also a formal paper and two easy projects. I finished every assignment within one to two hours. Take this if you need an easy ECON 102 class!

I took this as an online summer class. It only had a final exam and the rest of your grade is really short paper and homework assignments. This class was not particularly difficult. As long as you do the work you should get at least a B+. If you need a summer course that is not too stressful, this is the one to take!

The class is curved so if you do bad on the midterm and final, don't worry too hard. I got C's on both the midterm and final and got an A in the class. Try to get A's on all the Aplia, and do the bonus. Don't worry about taking notes in his class. I just watched Netflix the whole time and occasionally participated. I ended up participating the most

Accelerated class, so not nearly as much material covered as normal. Overall, it was easy. Just keep current with your Connect homework (which take forever to do with little learning results). Extra credit is pretty easy, as were the assignments. Midterms and tests weren't very hard either!

I had him for both micro and marco economics. He was easy, but made you do a lot of busy work regarding note taking. He checks notebooks because this is supposed to be a freshman class. So, you have to keep your notebook clean and organized. Otherwise, he is fine.

I took Soos for Econ 002 and 004. I was going to get a hotel and restaurant management degree. He had us following the stock for Apple and gave great examples of what exactly Economics was. I am now close to graduating with a BS degree in economics at University Park and he is the one that inspired me to go this way. As far as his exams. Just study

Prof. Soos's class is way to easy. Kids are morons and dont study and he gives them B's even though they fail every test. His tests arent hard, read each chapter and the chapter review and you will learn something and get an A.

Well I got a "50%" on the mid-term and "24%" on the final, and somehow ended up with a "C." Honestly, YOU WON'T LEARN A THING! EVERYONE FAILS THE MID-TERM AND FINAL! Yet, people end up with B+'s & C's. He super curves the test by something like 45 percentage points, otherwise PSU would take a look at his clas and realize HE CAN'T TEACH ECON!

Gotta lover McKeesport for having a business professor teach a PLSC class. He had no idea what was going on and people in the class knew more about government than him. Gave no notes at all. How can you call sitting there just reading the book to the class teaching??

Well, he is a really nice guy who will TRY to help but he's just an awful teacher. Everyone in the class has no clue what he's talking about and the test grades show it. Luckily he curves the hell out of it..i feel robbed of my tuition since i learned NOTHING

I had him for both 002 and 004 in the same semester. First half of the semester before midterms the classes are EXACTLY the same. Same book, same info...made the first half very easy. However, after that I became lost. He's a little confusing. Take notes on the chapters and come to class for the activities bc these pts will boost your grade a lot.

This class is ridiculous, He is all over the place. We take quizes on material we covered weeks prior, NOT the material we just covered. I would NOT recommend this class.

Do not fret him, he is actually a smart man. If only I would have listened to his stock tips at the begining of the semester, I be a happier man. Aside from that, he knows how economics works and does a fine job teaching it. However, I did see alot of people failing because they didn't listen, study, and/or goto class.

The class sucked so did the professor. He's cocky, like he thinks he's hot or somethin(he's not by the way). He talks about Econ like it's the only important thing in life. Lectures were unclear, tests were impossible, and your quiz grades depend on how good you can guess.
