The class and homework assignments are not that hard, but he has 3 essays "tests" you have to do. These are 800-1200 words and are not has to write but he is not clear on what he wants. He gives you prompts to write, but then expects you to formulate an argument from those, which is really hard to do because it doesn't make much sense.

Great prof! especially for an INET. Each week you will have 1 quiz and 1 chapter to read in the book but you get an hour for 20 questions. No tests, instead you write a paper. (4 exam papers) and the final is a paper. pretty easy on grading. This is the class to take if you don't like history

This class is a joke. You can find all of the answers online for the quizzes and you have a ton of time to do them. He does include a few questions in each quiz from the video that are so vague you won't get them right unless you watch his lame videos. He takes the class too seriously and docks points for random stuff on writing assignments.

Took him through an online BlackBoard course. For each chapter he posts a short lecture and you are also required to read the text. His lectures have poor grammar. Grade is based on chapter quizzes and two 800-1200 word essays. If you don't like your grade on the essay he will let you argue and reassess it.

He is a fantastic professor who really knows his stuff, and expects you to know yours too. He gives great reading material that really makes you think. This class is not an easy A, but if you put the work in you should do well. He is a tough, but fair grader.

Gives a quiz for each chapter (Hint: Google). Essaysexams are really long and complicated. His GA grades all of the work. She gave me less than perfect scores for questions that were not even asked. She would make up a bunch of questions I should have answered and graded according to the make-believe questions. Grading expectation were unclear.

I took this class online. You have easy 20 point quizzes every week. You do have to do several 250-400 word assignments. You also will have 3 essays that are 750-1000 words. They can be a little intimidating, but they aren't terrible.

He knows a lot, very intellegent prof who tries to share his knowledge with students. Gives excellent material. Explains well but sometimes too mush off-topic. Always open and ready to help. Loved his lectures, but hos exams were nightmares for me. You have to read and analyze a lot to pass his exams

You do nothing in this class. He understands that this is a required course for everyone and it's super unnecessary, so he just doesn't do anything. I mean, you write like one paper, but other than that, it's small assignments you do in-class. And he's, like, a daddy kind of hot. Highly recommend if you can get him for GEP. Show up and pass.

NO. just don't. It's not even that the class was "hard" I understood everything and knew everything and still it was the lowest grade I've ever gotten. Unfair grading and he's rude and condescending. I learned a lot but HATED this class.

Class is challenging, but I enjoyed it. You will have to work hard for an A. This course is very writing-intensive; a little more than 50% of the entire semester grade is based on the three 750-1,000 word essays that you write as part of the tests and the 7-15 page paper due at the end of the semester. Focuses on Cause/Effect of events, not dates.

I was starting to like History before I took his class, back to disliking it & again. One of the worst classes I have ever taken. Unrealistic expectations (as far as how long assignments will take), lots of (pointless) research assigments, lectures hardly match book. Ugh most frustrating class EVER. Would not recommend.

Honestly the most convoluted teacher I've met in my life. In fact, he laughed at my A- report when it said it just wasn't A work, for unclarifiable reasons. Also uses a straight grading scale so if you have an 89% and should be getting an A-, you will get a B instead. Worst teacher I've had in my life, and I'm in Honors College.

Really kind guy. Two tests and a Final make up the grade with 3 20 point assignments usually. A ton of information and the tests are not easy. Get the ideas and events, not the dates and people. Focuses on cause and effect of events
