Really good prof, very helpful. Study the textbook and make sure you get a good understanding of the concepts. The exams are brutal if you don't study but the class is really great.

Great prof! My only advice would be to study more than you think you need to, as the class itself is engaging and easy but the exams are not. I would recommend this class to anyone who thinks they might possibly be interested in linguistics.

An excellent prof. Sometimes went over people's heads, but she always offered extra help sessions when she saw that the class was struggling with a particular concept. Probably not a good course to take unless you have a genuine interest in the subject.

Not a good prof at all. Gave me a horrible mark on a paper because it was "too psychology like". Didn't clarify anything in class. She sucks.

An interesting course heavy on the grammar. There were some good points to the course too. As a prof, she is sometimes leagues ahead of 99% of the class and therefore ends up teaching the 1% who can understand what she is talking about.
