He knows his stuff. His classes arn't sleepers. You get more out of them if you work. If you want a course where you can just take notes and skim them before the exam, go take something else. Put in a bit of effort, ask questions and you'll get lots from his courses. Talk to him outside class too! Nice guy.

This was the hardest class I have taken in my three years at stfx worse than calculus. If he didn't teach it I would have failed for sure he is very helpful and enthusiastic, but you have to show him your trying and don't miss class he freaks over that

He is probably the most enthusiastic professor at St.F.X. He teaches subjects such as Mineral Geology that a lot of people don't really care for. You won't regret learning from this man in your later geology courses.
