Comment:

Her class was 10/10 my favorite class to take. The class was mostly speeches, but very fun because you got to be creative with your speeches and choose the topic you wanted to speak on. There was never a dull moment. And for those who graded her poorly probably didn't try to have fun as well during their speeches.

I don't know why she doesn't have a 5 star Rating. Amy is awesome! I wish I would have continued studying communication because she is the best. She is very helpful and makes learning fun. People who rated her poorly, saying they had a bad experience probably didn't want to be in the journalism/communication field! You will love Amy.

Comment:

She's the best teacher at NECC, she always made it clear on what she was teaching and how she wants it done. She is funny and very very nice..I enjoyed public speaking and wish I could take it again. She made it feel easy, when public speaking can be difficult, she was would help you and support you through it. I 10/10 would recommend thus class!!

Not an understanding nor compassionate teacher to her students. She is known for "wanting her students to succeed" but will do little to help you get there. She is judgmental and critical while you are presenting your speeches, though she deducts points on things SHE does "incorrectly" too. She is excited about the subject matter, not teaching it.

Got through the course via Google Search and a few discussion posts. Only graded on quizzes, tests (as easy as the quizzes) and discussion boards every few weeks. Easiest class I've ever taken and the teacher was helpful.

She is forgetful and will not answer emails for days, if at all. The material is just the junk from the textbook and she adds nothing to the course. I would not take another class with this professor. Very poor quality. I didn't learn anything.

I had her for journalism 1, 2 and Mass Comm, and I'm taking more from her. I think shes the best teacher I've had. She's easy, but hard, and very very helpful. She made me so interested in COMM that I changed from accounting to a comm major. Shes the absolute BEST!!! take her classes.
