Comment:

Gives random readings of entire articles and books that is unnecessary. Most of the assignments helped me keep up with the class. However some assignments were unclear what we were supposed to do. Very tough grader, as someone who has experience in this class. Not the worst prof but definitely not the best.

Comment:

Super hard tests. Is not clear on her clicker questions, there seems to always be answers that she says "maybe" to. The lab is good, instructor for lab is awesome. I thought this would be an average booster but it won't be. Her slides are well done, but super long and wordy.

Comment:

She says all the time "Whatever." She uses presentation without homour,using blacks for lecture slides. The ppt slides are well prepared and well organized, good! She talks slowly, this is good, but tends to make me dozed-off. This class has lab but she doesn't teach, good! The lab is pratical ecology, using the statistics. Everylab has reports :(

Comment:

Brenda is an extremely hard marker. When approached for help she seems uninterested. She is also extremely rude with comments on assignments, and when trying to establish a good relationship she also has a tendency to be very rude. Would never recommend her again.

I really didn't enjoy this class. I was initially excited about it but after the first day I knew it would be a disaster. It was boring and pointless. Her marking was confusing and I feel like I learned nothing.

Great teacher. Easy-going, friendly, gives clear and concise notes, gives many hints about midterm questions, wants students to do well.
