AVOID THIS TEACHER. As the end of the semester is approaching, we've only done 2 projects. Mainly all we've done are exercises from the text book. She sits and talks all class long, which is awful, then comes around and harshly and unnecessarily criticizes peoples work. We havent even had a critique. I wish I took this class w/ a different prof.

Cathy knows a lot about design however she can be a bit much at times. Some of her criticism is confusing or harsh (like i witnessed her more than once tell a student that she didnt like the direction he was going in--so start over--he was pretty much finished with his piece!) She sometimes can be a little "out there"but shes not horrible.

A real fun class, not too hard once you get used to Adobe Freehand. We designed salad dressing bottles, seed packettes, door signs, and made a self-portrait too!
