The first week of the class an essay was assigned. My books had not come into the bookstore yet. I emailed explaining the situation thinking maybe he would be understanding since it is the first week of the class. sends an email saying congratulations to everyone who submitted the essay and says the essay is due at the same time no exceptions.

He was very unclear about what he wanted and graded papers harshly. His essay critiques did not make much sense and were inconsistent. There was no pleasing him and his class is the only B I've ever received throughout both high school and college. Beware of taking his class, I ended up doubting my strong writing skills and was very discouraged.

He's AWFUL... I am only taking a summer course with him... believe what you choose but I wouldn't recommend him to an enemy. He intentionally makes everything difficult from the textbook he chose, to planning out the syllabus to an exact T for every class, wants a writing assignment for every other class, condescending, rude and demeaning.

It's extremely tough to understand what he's looking for. Some questions asked are not answered or ignored. He only mentions a few errors in your paper typically in the beginning. Which means he doesn't read the entire essay. Online classes are great because of the flexibility. If you're taking the online class make sure you devote enough time.

So I took this class and I must say, it was the best and most effective English course that I have taken. Mr. Commodore is an excellent teacher. He has a jovial personality and I wish he was my prof. for all my classes. He really sees to it that all his students receive a fair opportunity!!

Cool professor. Always jokes around and makes you laugh. When you need help he is there for you. Take his class if you ever attend Middlesex Community College.
