I took English Comp 1 this fall with this professor. She is an unpleasant lady who was not clear on what the expectation for her class is . Had a hard time preparing for class because syllabus was messed up. Contradicted herself constantly. Dont be late or you will get yelled at plus a 2 pt. deduction per class you are late. Short papers.

GOOD LUCK.... Listen if you have the choice, for the love of god, pick a different professor. I've never hated a teacher so much in my life. She is completely aribitrary with her polices, it seems whatever fits her interest that day is what she'll go with. For instance, she might say you got 5 days to complete something, but then say you got 2 days

Such a tough grader.... piles and piles of essays that have to be up to her standards..... got a D on an essay she read before i passed it in & said it looked good.... you can definitely find an easier class

She was an awful teacher and person. Not only was she insensitive but rude and self-righteous. She believes that the only way is her way, she is very closed minded, do NOT take her class if you are creative, open minded, or artistic because she will destroy and diminish that.

I enjoyed this class she used a lot of different was to present the materials such as movies and print out. She was very fair! She just didn't put up with young kids thinking they were going to skate through with no effort!! I really like her!

Even though Professor McGrail is not very clear in writing assignments, I did awesome in the class up until my thesis. I couldn’t help but feel like she had a bias opinion on my subject matter. So here’s a word of advice - never write about anything involving politics or controversy issues in the news, she’ll probably fail you. I was discouraged

McGrail is TOUGH. If you can't pull off writing your tush off then DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!! I remember having to write 4 pages a day for this broad. You can most definitely find an easier English Comp Class....
