Do NOT take her. She gives so much papers, readings, and assignments. On top of that, she is VERY critical as if she is a 20 time best selling author. This class or any class by her will be your main priority. Journal assignments and readings due every week, short essay, reflective essay and a research paper. AVOID HER. I will never take her again.

She gives ALOT of work but also gives ALOT of feedback. Her work is pretty easy if you are on top of your stuff. It get's overwhelming at times but she helps a lot. You can work with her outside of class to fix your school work. I prob did way more work in her class then my major classes but overall she's not bad. Just be ready to work for your gra

She's very nice and really cares about you but she gives so much work. Essay after essay and on top of that readings. This class was the worst. I'm a science major and this class made me feel like an English major. I worked my butt of in this clasHer class literally stressed me out. I would not recommend her class. And if you do take her Goodluck.

Helpful and clear but very tough grader. Most of my effort in the semester went into her class instead of my science and math class since I am a science major. She was the only class that ruined my shot at a 4.0 even after the amount of time spent doing her assignments. Be prepared to work...A LOT. Try to avoid if possible.

I am not that kind of person that would listen to anyone to drop a class if it's hard, but this one I wish someone told me not to take. Well, try to avoid her class, yes she is helpful! But prepare your self to work. Very tough grader, she gives work on daily basis. I WOULD NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN!

I concur on recommending her for American Literature. She's interested in her subject matter and it shows in her lecturing. You can't help but to become engaged in the material because it's so relevant to each student. In this case, you're guaranteed to get a good grade.
