DL Garren can be pretty intense for a professor but she really makes you work for it. I really like having her as a professor. She makes each class zoom by, I appreciate how she really makes everyone work and pushes her students. She made me think differently about how scripts are written and how scenes are done.

Great class. No lecturing. Games - Exercises-Scenes Ending grade conferences. My grade was better than I thought. Homework is mostly a couple of practices a week with a scene partner. Came in knowing nobody. Went out with a class full of friends. Gotta love it !

she is crazy when learning a scene one day you will be told one thing and then he next she will blame you for what you are doing. she will also pick on students and tell thing to the whole class like if you are going to fail for being late at some point ever one will know

Directing Seminar filled the day it opened. Great Class. Excellent conversations. Up beat. Smart. Even if someone's sick, they come, because they don't want to miss class. (D.L. will get you a ride back to your dorm, though, if you're really too sick to be there.) She's knows her stuff. She's into it. We're into it. She's the BEST ! 'Nuff said.
