Elena Swaim is very educated in her field of teaching. You do not have to be a business student for her to see your potential. She helped me realize that there is a business side to me. Her tests are mainly short answer questions along with essat questions. Interactive group projects are a big part of her classes.

Comment:
Great person, not so great of a teacher. Barely teaches, only goes over the topics of the chapters. Expects you to learn by just reading the chapters, not considerate of the fact that most students have jobs & other classes. Grades were mainly based upon group work, which had its pros & cons. Quizzes were biweekly and were on 2-4 chapters at a time

Great teacher, spells exactly what she wants/expects from students. When you get on her good side you can get away with a lot of things. Wish she didn't have such a obsession with punctuality (she will lock the door upon entering the room, better be on time!)

I didn't find her helpful at all. She works at a very fast pace, cramming a ton of information into bi weekly quizzes, and it is all information that she barely covers. Ill agree that she is nice, but that won't help you if you fall behind.
