I just presented the final paper I did for this class at a conference organized by Fernando. My paper was read and discussed by the director of education at the World Bank!!!!! I was awed at all I had learned this semester. It was a lot of work, for sure, a lot to read, we had to work as consultants to an education specialists in UNICEF. worth it!

Professor Reimers may be a leader in his field, but as a professor, his lectures can run dry. He should also speak louder in lectures, and moreover, be involved in the grading process and discussion sections, as opposed leaving the TA in charge of everything.

Read recently the feedback in my final paper for this course. Of all the courses I took last semester I learned the most from Fernando and his TFs. They are very dedicated to teaching. I also learned a lot from my classmates. This was a terrific learning experience. His mind works at the speed of light and his lectures are packed.

He should practice what he teachers; class discussion, promoting other points of views...etc. Unless you are in love with Latin America or Mexico, his class is totally pointless as to him "International Education" apparently only means Latin America...disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
