This is my second class with Professor NeCastro. He is disorganized, confusing, and terribly impressed with himself. I would not recommend this course. Learning is superficial at best.

Not so good! Left out huge portions of project requirements in the syllabus, then added them after the work was done... Course load too heavy for a 16 week course (Read 14 plays in fifteen weeks, then two more for the projects!). Still waiting for grades to be posted... Very poor communication... Never again.

He seems unprepared and unorganized for his class (tends to improvise lot). he gives a ton of projects to do while it's unclear what materal is important to know for the exams. you have to bug him like mad to get any help from him, and he seems more concerned with the class materals and his own convenience than the students themselves.

Prof. NeCastro is one of the best teachers I have had. He is very interested in the progress of his students, and makes the class extremely interesting with combining art and english. He is creative, humorous and generally a great person. I highly recommend having him as an instructor.

The only true UMM aesthetic, his classes consistently focus on the pursuit of knowledge as he turns every event into a learning experience. His high level of performance can occasionally be quite irksome to other less competent employees.

Really nice guy and his classes are not difficult. He is naieve as well, someone once drew a caricature of him mocking him when they were bored and he asked what they were drawing, so they showed him. He loved it.

Comment:

Often surprises you with more course work than anticipated, but loves a good read and is interesting as a lecturer. Takes opposing viewpoints very well. Willing to work with you if you have a problem. Great sense of humor. He’s “peachy!”
