Be prepared for super difficult tests, oh and that's your whole grade, three tests! These aren't any old run of the mill tests either, these are the hardest tests you will ever take. I thought he was a good at actually teaching the material, but his course is hard to pass and almost impossible to do good in. Expect a C, if you pass...

Professor Dhadwal is a very tough but fair teacher. Any class that he teaches will bring your GPA down. Attendance and homework are not mandatory. Reading the text book is a must because lectures are more like review sessions. He is knowledgeable about the topics but is hard to understand and learn from most of the time.

AHHH man!!!This prof is a seriously a one tough guy in the ECE dept at sbu. He wants you to learn all that he knows about this class, he wants you to be perfect in this course, otherwise you will fail. And worst things are his exams, they are as hard as you can hardly get a 10points out of 50. I wouldn't suggest you take this professor.

He is super nice and willing to help, even though the averages were very low, but he gave huge curve as long as you learnt something. i got 66100 on final and that's an A. but I will still suggest you take this class with another prof. ,much easier and you wont need to put that much effort to get an A :) but if you r smart, try it :)

Tbh don't ever take this professor, really if someone else isn't available for any course you tryna take. Waittttt until the next semester and you wont regret. Worst professor you will ever take in sbu. Even though he will tell you the topics for final, but still average of the class will be 10. At the end decision is yours :)

This class is hard, no doubt. But Prof. Dhadwal is a good professor who actually care about teaching. He teaches in-depth and you will definitely love it if you actually want to learn. I had to work really hard to get a good grade but then again I learned a lot in this class. Just make sure you understand every single concept before the tests.

Exams are ridiculously hard. do his practice exams before hand and maybe you will get beyond 50%.... project is ridiculously hard... expect to spend 6 or more hours per week for the project alone. just when you think you are done at the end of the semester, he requires a 15 to 20 page project report.

His exams are very difficult, the class is overall the hardest class that I took at Stony Brook, I didn't understand why he didn't allow calculators and cheat sheets b/c that's not how the real world works. Nicest guy in the world... till you get his tests... he gives you practice examples...WHICH IS BASICALLY WHAT YOU DON'T NEED FOR THE TEST..Expects way to much....His tests are based on if you can memorize the formulas... if you can't you screwed... and the project is insane!

His course is made difficult mostly because of the material under consideration, and his adamancy in allowing neither calculators, nor cheat sheets. Since the material is mostly double and triple integrals in spherical co-ordinates, you're going to be scratching your head on the exams, which are insanely difficult. You can learn stuff, though.

His tests are hard and expects you to actually apply what he lectured on. I found him one of the most personable professors I had. If he didnt expect you to memorize the formulas the tests would still be hard as you need to apply and think rather than just plug in numbers to the formulas. If you cant handle it maybe you need to change majors.
