Comment:

Overall, she was a good professor. Though, I had her for an online only class and I think she may have just been struggling to grasp how different online classes are compared to in-person. Originally, I was enrolled in an honors class but had to drop down because she seemed to expect more than possible in COVID-19 pandemic times.

Comment:

She cares about her students a lot. That being said, she grades based on what she thinks you're capable of. So if you're an A student she grades a lot harder. Her tests don't match the content that often and are super long. Her teaching style is erratic and she ended class early a lot. Nice person, not great at teaching.

Comment:

Professor Gagne is a great professor, she grades by how much research and effort put into the assignment you pass in. Her grading method is great, although she seems to rush since she teaches multiple courses. She is always willing to help a student if needed, and even gives out her phone number if a student needs to connect with her.

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She clearly cares about her students, and responds really fast when you contact her. She is always available to answer your questions and wants to see everyone succeed.

Prof Gagne is the sweetest professor I have ever had. She treats her students as if they are her kids. She is incredible in lectures, gives fair exams, and makes sure you understand everything. To get an A in her classes, make sure you take good notes and read the book. Ask her about anything you don't understand. She is the best!!

Isabelle Gagne is a fantastic professor! Took two of her classes last semester and was very sad they had to end. She truly cares about her students and will go out of her way to help them. Totally recommend her!! She is amazing.

Very knowledgeable, also very disorganized. Lecture heavy!!! Presents things very differently on tests and quizzes than how its taught in lecture.

Great teacher. I disagreed with her on some things she taught because some subjective perspectives were presented as fast. The actual class was wonderful! She was always incredibly understanding, patient, and encouraging! Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Just finished taking her online class. This is my third online course I LOVED the way she had it organized. Any email I sent with a question was answered within hours if not minutes from sending them. There are no surprises in her class, she is clear cut with her expectations and grading criteria. She provides excellent constructive feedback .

I did not like doing the group project for this class. Gagne has her moments and can be humorous and her lectures are not usually too boring. But I am not a fan of her grading and study guides. Study Guide does not always have the information that is on the test on it. She could be more clear about what the test is going to be.

I took this class online and never again will I take one with her again. I struggled this semester in her class. I would email her questions about certain problems I was having and it would take a week to respond. I was having a problem with black board and my quizzes and she wouldn't help me out. I felt as if she was not there for us as students.

She is awesome! I am taking her again for another class next semester. She sets clear expectations and you must complete all work in order to pass. She does not ask a lot, and it always there to help. She emails back quickly and if you need anything she will try her best to help you!

I learned so much in this class, and its easy to do because she makes it easy to understand and interesting! The power points that she lectures from are always on line and always available plus doing her study guides extra credit! I wish I could take this class again!!!

Best teacher thus far. Took her for Developmental Psychology and wish that I could take her for my other psychology classes. Shes 100% there for you and will help you if you have any trouble. Most of the work is also posted online just in case you miss class or anything. Alot of notes but all very helpful. She is also one of the best ad-visors.

This is the second class I have taken with Prof Gagne because she is the best. She expects quality work so as long as you put in the effort you'll do well. The first class I took with her was in class and this I took online. I liked both but I prefer to take her in class for the class discussions. If you like psych and want to learn, take her class

very nice, read the book, do the work on time and you will pass. Not a hard teacher, if you want to learn you will with her. Her study guides are helpful for the quizzes and tests, but save them you will need them for the final! Awesome teacher, I would take her again.
