First off, good teacher, keeps class engaged. As a film teacher, 50/50. Explained obvious things while we watched. Showed film that wasn't Italian. Afraid to show older Italian films. Reason, people wouldn't get them. However he let me bring a Spaghetti western and lecture. Advice, take chance and show people older films.
